Using lightweight materials from the aerospace industry, they designed a strong and lightweight service body that slides right into the bed of a pickup and merges the functionality of a pickup and the enclosed cargo capacity of a van. Even better? They build every one of their models to make transferring the entire SpaceKap module an easy task that can be accomplished quickly. Every SpaceKap is built tough enough to handle interior shelving, ladder racks, and any amount of customization you need for your fleet but is lightweight to ensure that you don’t impact your cargo capacity. SpaceKap Diablo
The Diablo from SpaceKap is easily the most impressive slide in service body ever built. With cargo headroom of over 6 feet and an interior volume of 372 cu. ft; it feels more like a workshop than a service body. SpaceKap knows that sometimes you need a place to work, and the Diablo not only has built-in skylights but also a full LED interior light system to allow you to get the job done – no matter what it is.
The best part of the Diablo is how functional it is – with the huge volume of cargo space, you can virtually eliminate even needing to haul your gear with a trailer, so handling jobs off the beaten path can be accomplished with far less equipment and expense.
SpaceKap Diablo Shelving Packages
The SpaceKap Diablo might be the most functional slide-in service body ever built, and now Expertec is offering four specially-designed shelving packages by Ranger Design to make it even better.
Diablo Contractor Package:
The Contractor makes great use of the headroom in the Diablo, offering four Ranger Design shelves on either side, along
with a divider package to keep everything organized.
Diablo Plumber and Electrician Package:
Outfitted 4 shelf organization strategy on one side but provides more space with only three shelves on the other. The driver side also has a built-in tool cabinet to provide lockable storage. The real advantage, though, is that this setup maximizes cargo space, especially if transporting conduit or pipe (up to 10 feet long) is a part of the job.
Diablo HVAC Package:
Another purpose-built solution that has been designed with the HVAC specialist in mind. Ample storage can be configured to store nearly any sized refrigerant bottle inside and with optional bin shelving, built in toolboxes, regular divided shelves and a nosecone section at the front helps hold even more.
Diablo Workstation:
This system may be the most efficient shelving unit ever built. The passenger side features four levels of shelves and six on the driver’s side. A full workstation is configured on the driver’s side to allow you to get the job done out of the weather. The driver side shelving is designed to use bins for storage while the passenger side shelving can be configured with dividers to give you the custom storage you need.
SpaceKap Wild
If you are looking for the best cargo van alternative, then the SpaceKap Wild is the one you need! With up to 53 inches of interior headroom, a complete optional shelving system, and full access doors on the sides, the Wild gives you a huge volume of covered and secured storage space and the smoother ride that pickups offer due to their inherent design.

Wild Electrician and Plumber:
Expertec has taken the Wild Contractor package and added in a purpose-built Ranger Design Partskeeper cabinet on the end. This gives you lockable storage for tools and equipment and can replace that bulky toolbox that’s always in the way.
Wild HVAC Package:
Designed with the HVAC Contractor in mind. On the driver side, you’ll find a purpose-built bottle holder for all the various gases and refrigerants that are called for today, while extra-deep shelving and bins make staying organized easy for HVAC specialists.
SpaceKap Compak
The SpaceKap Compak gives you 320° access to your tools and cargo and the roof sits flush with the cab of the truck, keeping fuel economy up and blending in seamlessly with your truck’s lines.
The 40/60 back door design gives you full access to the cargo area while keeping the doors parallel to traffic and the legendary SpaceKap interchangeability means that you can easily switch the entire cap from one full sized truck to another with the same length bed.
SpaceKap Compak Shelving Packages
With 320-degree exterior access to the tools and gear in your Compak, Expertec makes it even easier with two unique packages perfectly designed for the real world.
Compak Contractor Package:
Shelves on either side of the Compak to hold tools, equipment, and anything else you could need. The bottom shelf is 15 inches deep while the top shelf is 10 inches, allowing easy access while still saving valuable space. Especially useful are the additional hooks we’ve built into the back of the Contractor Package for extension cords, protective clothing, or whatever you need to hang up.
Compak Electrician and Plumber Package:
Purpose-built for those in the trades, this package comes with two heavy duty shelves on one side of the Compak and storage bins incorporated on the other side for all the small bits and pieces that tradesmen inevitably need. No more loose boxes of fittings falling over every time you need one.
